Gad Bryan, of the firm of Bryan and OHara. owners of the Bowie race track and who are largely interested in the Kemp-ton Park track here at Laprairie, was in town on Friday and Saturday to confer with the other directors of the Breeders Racing Association regarding the installation of mutuels at the newest mile course in the vicinity of Montreal. Mr. Bryan and the other directors visited the course on Saturday and planned many improvements to be carried out. Mr. Bryan is anxious to make this plant one of the most complete iu Montreal. He stated before leaving for Bowie that he had practically decided to install the mutuels and eliminate the syndicate ring. "The Canadian public wants the machines and I think they are best for racing," stated. Mr. Bryan. The system to be installed at Kempton Park will be that used at Bowie. In speaking of the coming meeting at the Maryland track, Mr. Bryan said he was pleased with the outlook.
