0 f TH0RNHILL SETS GOOD MARK FOR THE STABLE NAMED IN HIS HONOR AND WINS IMPORTANTLY t 4- Thornhill proved a reliable feed winner for the small racing stable of J. Barry, the Canadian turfman, whose horses are raced under the colors of the Thornhill Stable. Racing under almost all kinds of conditions and at great variety of distances, he met some of the best handicap horses of the year in some of his races. His premier performance was the capture of the Frontier Handicap, at Windsor, in which he defeated Borrow, Rancher, Runes and others, and added ,070 to his owners bank account. This victory alone was sufficient to give Mr. Barry a good ranking among the years winning owners. Next to Thornhill the three-year-old Wise Man was the most fortunate animal in the stable, a couple of victories and four second places netting ,410. The record of the Thornhill Stable for 191G is as follows: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won.
