TREMENDOUS CROWD AT HAVANA. Witness Some Spirited Racing Under Ideal Conditions — Special New Years ProgTam. Havana. Cuba, December 31. — A tremendous crowd attended the races this afternoon at Oriental Park. Six hundred automobiles were parked back of the grandstand. The clubhouse contingent was large and representative. Racing conditions were ideal, the finishes close and exciting. Sable, a first -lime starter, was beaten a head in the opening race after making the pace. He is one of the English colts imported by R. T. Wilson last year. .M.uity Fox ran away a mile and a half after winning the second race. A special program, arranged for New Years Day, is made up of seven well-filled races, including a ,000 handicap.
