Pelle Roberts, won the two-year-old dash today with consummate ease, running straight an 1 true from barrier rise to finish. The opening race went to the favorite. Charity Ward, which, after being close up throughout, won under a mild drive. Another favorite scored in the second, when Thirst, after being outpaced in the early stag-s. came fast in the stretch and won decisively at the end. Zim. the odds-on choice, opened up a big lead in the third race and won all the way in the fast time of 1:11%- Call Shot upset calculations when he defeated -dine fast sprinters in the fifth, getting the verdict in the last stride. Pigtodo failed the form players in the last race because held under restraint too long. Waremore was advanced from 00 to 30 by It. S.
