CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. Lucky G -orge was recently purchased nt private sale by W. J. Marlman. What could be more natural than that Endurance, by Marathon, should have engaged in more races in 1910 than any other race horse. Jockey Tommy McTuggart is riding in splendid form at New Orleans and it is only his weight that keeps him from getting more mounts. Was it not appropriate for Merchant to win at a Business Mens meeting, says the New Orleans Times-Picayune after R. L. Breslers three-year-old won the other day at the Fair Grounds. Trainer formerly jockey Queen is trying to get .1 stable- for the approaching seasons racing on the eastern tracks. He now has the five year old mare Rebecca Moses, by Mexican or Johnny Harris Bene Thorpe, at Belmont lark and is looking for others.
