APPROVAL OF JOCKEY CLUB STEWARDS. Conditions of Lator.ia Championship Stakes Endorsed by Officials of Turfs Governing Body. Lexington. Ky.. February 15. — F. R. Hitchcock. H. K. Knapp and Schuyler L. Parsons, stewards of the Jockey Club, have written and expressed their approval of the conditions of tin- Latonia Championship Stakes and of the fostering influence such an event will have upon the apart of racing. Mr. Hitchcock has already directed that entries of certain of his yearlings be made and it is expected that each of the other gentlemen will make nominations. H. Kngene Leih will leave here tomorrow morning for Cincinnati to spend a day or two witli his old frit mis Ah LahoU Bad Charles Straus before going on to Nt w York. Jot key Walter Antlress has been re-engagetl by Gallahcr Heathen to ritle for them during the PUT season of racing.
