J I PAN ZARETA OUT IN FRONT SPEEDY OLD MARE WINS EASILY FROM FAST SPRINTERS AT THREE -QUARTERS. Alert Defeats Rhymer, Sir Richard Succumbs to Cranhio and Is Claimed — Thornhill Has Gained a New Owner — Essex Preparations. Hot Springs. Ark.. March 28. — The speedy Pan Zareta gave evidence of a return to her best form this afternoon when she captured the three-quarters handicap in splendid style from a good band that ess, i i d to measure strides, and won easily in fast time.
