PROPOSED TAX ON RACE TRACK BETTING. Frankfort. Ky.. April 12.— The long-looked for race track bill, providing for a two-cent tax 011 every dollar wagered on a race track, to go into the state tr-usury, was introduced in the Qtsaej of Representatives l,v Representative Hntelicraft of Iaris. Under the racing commission law the race tracks nre permitted to operate pari-mutuel machines through which wagers are made. The race tracks are permitted to deduct six cents from every dolltr Wagered, and this bill proposes to deduct two cents from the six cents for state revenue. It i-estimated that the bill will bring 50,000 annually.
