IMPROVED COLT IS AL M. DICK. Louisville, Ky., April 12. — There is probably not n three-year-old in local training for the Derby that has improved in looks as much as Al M. Dick, the black colt that will carry the colors of Roy Yeager. of this city, in the big race. This colt has been in charge of •Bub" May at Douglas Park all winter, and a recent trial at one mile, which he ran in good time, proved that he is pretty well advanced in his preparation. The colt has grown and filled out, and, together with abundant speed, appears as though he could go on. In his most recent trial he reeled off a mile in 1:47%, and pulled up without even taking ii long breath. Trainer May was inuch impressed and gave it as his opinion that the colt would make a creditable showing in the Derby against the supposed cracks. This is Yeagers first ven-tur»* in the sport of racing and he is naturally anxious to see his colors carried by a worthy representative in the seasons richest stake.
