OLD ROSEBUD AND R0AMER TO MEET. Old Rosebud and Roamer are at last booked to meet. As six -year-olds they probably will come together in the Kentucky Handicap at Douglas Park this spring. Old Rosebud clearly was the best as a two-year-old in 1913, but his mishap just after his sensational victory in the Kentucky Derby cut short his three-year-old career. Roniner then came into his own. and the question of what would have happened had not Rosebud gone wrong was a mooted one. After his long lay-off Old Rosebud has come back to make another bid for supremacy; and Roamer, too, after a long slump, is suid to he training as he did of old. Although other worthies will 1m- there to vie with these animals, the struggle between the two will be of unusual interest.
