The death on urn d at Eastbourne March 27 of Fled Webb, one of the greatest jockey- ,-f the era during which each tine horsemen as Archer. Tom Cannon, Weed and Fordhnm also flourished. He prepared Merman to will the Ceserewiteh, Ascot Gold Cup ami Boad wood Cap, and 1rayhead the Liverpool Summer Cup.
