Won ridden out: second and third driving. SEEEPY SAM moved up rteadily and. passing POPPEE at the eighth post, was under moderate pressure at the finish. LOHENGRIN was outpaced in the early running, but closed up with a belated rush in the homestretch and was gaining rapidly in the closing strides. POPPEK was speedy, but was much used in racing ROSEMARY into defeat and tired as if short. PARLOR ROY finished gamely. QJTD NUNC ran well to the last eighth. ROSEMARY set the early pace and tired. WISE MAN dropped back on the bickstreteh. but gained rapidly afterwards and finished fast and gamely. FUIIT CAKE, under preaaare from the start, set a fast pace, but tired under her weight in the linal eighth. DAVID CRAIG tired badly. DR. CARMEN was not persevered with. The latter showed excellent speed in pacemaking and just failed to last long enough to win. IMPERATOR was a close contender all the wav and hung on gamely at the finish. DUNOA DIN closed a big gap. STARFINCH moved up menacingly in the homestretch, but tired in the closing strides. COUBTRHIP raced wide on the far turn, then made a game eftort. but could never get to the leaders. LADY MOLL saved ground on all turns. REPROBATE was practically left. AMALGAMATOR tired. Scratched— 32597 Nashville. 117. Overweights — Sea Gull. 2 pounds.
