Kentucky Contingent Falls Heavily When Kinny and Gipsey Gcorgo Run Unplaced Jockey Haynes Shaken Up When Mount Falls. Fort Erie, Ont., July 0. W. L. Olivers consistent old sprinter, Kewcssa, added to his long list of victories when he beat a band of speedy horses in the three-quarters handicap at Fort Erie this afternoon. This was the feature nice of the afternoons offerings and it brought a field of good horses to the post. Crump, who had the mount on Kewcssa, beat the others away from the barrier and his mount was never headed. Tea Caddy was the runner-up at the finish, while Langhorne finished a nose in front of Kinney. The latter was coupled with Gipsey George and they were heavily supported by the Kentucky delegation. There was a bad-looking fall in the third race, in which the favorite, Bon Tromp, got mixed up in a jam and fell at the half-mile post. It seemed as if jockey Haynes was severely injured, but on examination showed that there were no bones broken. He wrenched the muscles of his back and will be out of the saddle a few days. E. W.
