Won easily; second and third driving. ULTIMA THULE displayed the most speed from the start, took a decisive lead in the final quarter and won under restraint. CADDIE was a close contender from the start and, nfter coming wide at the elbow, closed up steadily and outstayed RUTHIE M. in the final drive. The latter finished fast. DR. JOHNSON moved up menacingly at the quarter post, but tired. STARRY BANNER ran well. WOOD VIOLET was in close quarters in the early running. SO LONG LETTY could never get up. THUNDERCLOUD, LADY ROOKIE, ETTA HE and JAPHET ran green. SALLIE WATERS ran oiit. Scratched 34130 Cavan Roy, 115; Bully Roy, 115. O A O PCO THIRD RACE 1 Milo. ANDES ran well and made a challenge in the homestretch, but tired in the closing strides. LOTTERY gained slowly in the finrtl quarter. PONCE DE LEON closed a big gap. STAR GAZE passed ARMAMENT when entering the homestretch and drew away, but tired when challenged. G. M. MILLER slipped through iit-xt to the rail oii- the last turn and finished gamely, but tiring. DOVEDALE had no mishaps and finished fast and close, up; MISS KRUTER. set, a moderate page and was eased up when she tired. Overweights Star Gaze, 1 pound; Rrickley, 4; Stalwart Heleu, I36. BATTLE met witli repeated interference, was almost knocked down at the quarter post and closed up swiftly, but tired in the final drive. KILMER finished with a rush. PIRAEUS closed a big gap. DIVERSION quit after racing into the lead. ZOUAVE set a fast early pace. Overweights Golden Rod, 4 pounds.
