ONLY YEARLINGS AT GRAVESEND NOW. With the exception of a large band of yearlings, which George Odom, John Whalen ami Eugene Leigh have quartered at Gravesend, things are rather qujet at the old home of the Brooklyn Jockey Club just nt present. Most of the owners, who usually make Gravesend their headquarters, have shipped their stables to Saratoga for the big meeting in August. The superintendent of the Gravesend course is keeping the track in good condition for .training purposes, an that after the Saratoga meeting the horsemen will find the track ready to work their horses over for the autumn racing at Belmont Park. Many trainers are partial to Gravesend as a training place and the grounds are sufficiently kept up to meet their demauds.
