ENGLISH YOUNGSTERS SENT TO SALES. Highly Bred Yearlings Bought by J. 0. Keene last Year to Be Sold at Saratoga. Lexington, Ky., July 28. Jack Keenes trip to England last September was to buy thirty-two weanlings and a dozen older horses, principally mares in foal for Messrs. George J. Long,, J. W. Schorr and himself. Two of the youngsters died on the way across and a third died shottly after reaching the farm. Two others at play ran together and were permanently crippled, but all the rest did well. Early this morning they were Joaded into two cars and started for Saratoga to be sold August 9. Keene confirmed the report that lie had insured the colts in England for what they cost plus the expense of their voyage over last winter and that a couple of days ago he had placed an additional .0,000 on them and the four home-bred colts, one a half-brother to Manager Waite, he sent with them. The star of the band appears to be the chestnut colt by Santoi Trosseau. The bay colt bv The White Knight Perishable; the chestnut colt by Marco Forecastle; chestnut filly by Ulster King-Cygnets Song; bay colt by Uonarosa Becky; brown colt by Darley Dale Sandry; bay filly by Charles OMnlley Sanhedrin; chestnut filly by King William Wild Wings; bay colt by Picton White Veil; brown filly by Light Brigade Perdoua; bay colt by Braxted Festive Agnes, and the bay colt by Mara-jax La Gioconde, are all exceptionally good-looking and will sell well. The Ballot colt, La Ven-ganza dam of Manager Waite, is the best of the horae-breds and is insured for ,500. The bay filly by Froglegs Winneeook, lias a trim appearance, while about the busiest little miss in the entire collection is the bay filly by Day Comet The Cat.
