MR. ALEX MOORE DENIES STATEMENT. Saratoga Springs, N". Y., August .10, 1917. Editor Daily Racing lorm: In the columns of your paper I have been credited with a statement that 1 intended to bring action against tie Saratoga- Racing Association. I have not at any time made such a statement, and have no desire for legal complications with the associations attending squabbles. The only statement that I made was that after being a member and bos-holder for .many .years, the association was unjust not to extend the same privileges granted to me in those lean years, fprom which racing has just emerged. I considered the matter a difference of opinioin not. a legal proposition between .the association and myself, and regret the publicity occasioned by the article in Question. Truly yours. ALEX MOORE. 1
