LADIES DAY AT CHEYENNE TRACK Big .Crowd of Fair Sex Turn Out to See Racing at Frontier Park Liberal Prices on Winners. Cheyenne, Wyo., August 21. The ladies were guests of the Cheyenne Thoroughbred Association this afternoon, this being the first free day for them at the meeting and, judging by the crowd that came out to Frontier Park, it looked as if every lady in Cheyenne had accepted the hospitality extended to them by the management. The people were a little late in coming, but by the time the horses went to the post for the second race there were fully two thousand on the grounds, comparing favorably with that of the opening day. The weather was all that could be desired; the track dried out fast, making the going fairly good. Although the fields in all the races were exceptionally small, there is plenty of racing material on the grounds and it is expected with good, clear weather and a fast track that there will be a large increase in the entries from now on. There were many liberal prices paid on the winners during the afternoon and the racing was well contested throughout.
