ANSWERS TO QUERIES. E. C. V., Louisville, Ky. "Wagers on Harry Kelly in the fourth race at Saratoga last Thursday were draws. D. B. C, Atlanta. Ga. No replies by telegraph. Wagers on the Whitney entry in the sixth race of Monday were draws. J. J. D., Chicago, 111. Blazonry was the Whitnei entry in. the last race at Saratoga Monday. DeliadcC" was bred by L. S. Thompson and is and alwavs has been his personal property. Wagers on the Whitney entries were draws. E. 7u, Chicago, 111. Coupling Ellison and Fizer in tlie fiftlt race at Saratoga Saturday was incorrect. Fizer belongs o the Beverwytk Stable. "Past performances" showed this. Ellison was the Fink entry. Had he won wagers on the Fink entry would have been payable; W. F. G., Nashville, Tenn. No two tracks in the country are alike in their soil components, speed and a characteristic quick or slow recovery from adverse weather conditions. Each track is a study in itself in thnt regard and no goneralstaidard exists, covering the differences between fast, good, sloppy, slow and heavy.
