MARAUDER moved up rapidly after entering the hopiestretch and drew away into an easy lead in the last eighth. ORESTES began slowly on the outside, but closed a big gap after working his way up on the outside. UKULELE made a fast finish. KALE dropped out in the early running. TOM TIT ran well. The latter moved up fast on the outside after entering the homestretch, but tired after getting to the leaders. GOLDEN LIST showed the most early speed, but also tired. LUZZI raced gamely., but could never get up. DIGNITY was sore when going to the post. MONCREIF ran a fast half and quit. OLD MISS was much, used in setting a fast pace and tired in the last eighth, but finished gamely. ORMULU came fast on the outside of the leaders in the stretch, but was tiring in the final strides.
