Indicates apprentice allowance. There is no publicly displayed betting at the Jefferson Parish track. Such wagering as takes place is oral, individual and on the lines laid down in the decision of the Louisiana Supreme Court in the Austin case. Won driving; second and third the same. MARYS BEAU began slowly, but gained steadily through the stretch racing and, finishing fast, overhauled ORIENTAL GIRL in the last seventy yards. ORIENTAL GIRL showed a good order of speed and was prominent from the start, but tired at the end. KING OF THE WIND suffered from some interference, but finished with a rush when clear. MISS FILLEY was gaining at the end, though forced to race wide. BREEZY quit in the stretch. MY GRACIE tired after racing into the lead. GEO. TERRELL ran a good half. Scratched 30704 Miss Agnes, 101. ALSTON, shuttled back in the first quarter, saved much ground when coming into the stretch and finished with a rush. DANCER set a good pace and tired in the stretch. MIK1FULA fell back after going well for three-quarters. EXECUTOR was away badly. BRICKLEY finished lame. MAXIMS CHOICE showed speed. Scratched 300COLuther, 115. AMALGAMATOR began slowly, but closed an immense gap in the stretch. BOND had many lengths the best of the start, but tired. JOVIAL was away slowly and had to race wide and tired in the last eighth. BROOM SAArEEl ran poorly. JOCULAR quit.
