LITTLE CHANGE MADE IN THE TIME RECORDS OF ; ; THE CANADIAN RACE TRACKS 4 Little change was made in the Canadian track records during the limited racing of 1917. The curtailment of the sport brought the season to a close on August 1, with only the spring and early summer meetings run off. Only one new time mark was established, that for a mile and twenty yards, made by Uncle Bryu, when he ran the distance in 1:39 at Kenilworth Park, Windsor, on July 30. At the same track and same day Bradleys Choice equaled the live and a half furlongs record of 1:05, which was established by Lackrose at Minovu Park, Vancouver, B. C, in 1911.
