CAIN SPRING ran green and closed up with a rusMi in the final eighth. SID C. KEENER displayed a high flight of speed while rounding the last turn, but ran out in the homestretch. TEA CADDY was in close quarters to the stretch turn, but finished fast .-.ml gamely when clear and outstayed STARTLING at the end. STARTLING moved up rapidly in the homestretch, but was tiring in the closing strides. ROLLIN LAIRD set a fast pace and displayed excellent speed and was not persevered with when he tired.
