AGNES COOK displayed a high flight of speed for the first quarter and was under restraint for the remainder of the race. CAIN SPRING gained steadily and outstayed CALLAO in the final drive. CALLAO saved ground on all the turns and finished gamely. HITCHY-KOO ran a fast three-eighths and tired. MANOEVRE was knocked back soon after the start. Scratched — Cora W.. 107. GRAPHIC was a forward contender from the start and took the lead in the homestretch, but tired in the final drive. AMALGAMATOR was under pressure from the start, but easily passed HUBBUB in the stretch. The latter set a good pace, but quit badly in the final quarter. The latter set the pace, hut tired badly.
