w MORE ARRIVALS FROM WINTER TRACKS Louisville. Ky., April 9. — Included among yesterdays arrivals from Hot Springs were the stables of ;. V. Barnes, I. S. Fountain. I -w Marion and J. A. Oihson. Barnes brought El Paloniar, Savino and Dr. Embree. while IM Mountain had Thorn Bloom and High Horse. J. A. Gibson brought Bringhurst aud six ol hers and Lew Marion fetched Old Man Crit and a two-year-old by Pinochle — Miss Theresa. Al ;. Woodman arrived from Havana and reported that his three Mm-James ;., Sparkler and Ague — were headed this way, being part of the shipment coming by special train from Key West. Woodman won hut one race during the meeting with Sparkler, but James H. scored for him on four occasions. Five horses belonging to H. T. Batchler got in yesterday from Hot Springs and are now quartered at Douglas Park. The horses to arrive were Jessie I/ouise. Batchler, Mali. IJttle Abe and a two-year-old colt by Marchmout. Jockey Frank Stevens is attached to this stable and will he seen in the saddle at the Kentucky meetings. filly. Mary the alleged The three -year -old Hello, victim of a nose-stuffing exploit on the part of J. M. Henry at Hot Springs, readied here yesterday and is now quartered in the barn of W. 11. Baker at Douglas Park. Frank M Kenua and John .1. Murphy, two well-known race followers, are among the more recent arrivals from Hot Springs.
