CHINN SHIPMENT LEAVES FOR EAST Fifteen Horses of the Kentucky Stable Now On the Way to Havre de Grace. Louisville. Ky., April 9. — After much patient waiting. Phil T. Chinn, in charge of the thirty head of horses belonging to the Kentucky Stable, finally secured cars and yesterday shipped fifteen of the horses to Havre de Grace. Mr. Chinn accompanied the shipment, and left the other fifteen horses in the stable in charge of Peter Wimmer. In all probability the horses remaining at Douglas Park will comprise the stables second division and will be campaigned this spring on the Kentucky tracks. The horses that Chinn transferred to the Maryland track included Swoon, Frederick tin-Great. Minto. Grayson, Starkey, a three-year-old colt by Fitz Herbert; six foreign-bred and three Americau-hred two-year-olds. Among the foreign-breds are colts by Matchmaker, Mushroom, Maedon-ald II. and Marajax. All of the juveniles have been highly tried at the local track, where they were wintered, and have shown a high turn of speed. They are all ready to go out and run winning races. Colonel Chinn had intended taking the three -year-old Subahdar east with him. but the sudden illness of the colt prevented his transfer. This is the colt that Chinn purchased at the Corrigan sale for ,000. "Doc" Martin, who campaigned a small stable for Chinn at Havana last winter, stopned over in Louisville for a few days. He was listed as trainer of the Kentucky Stables horses in the east last summer, and he will occupy a similar position this year.
