WHEAT CAKES raced under slight restraint to the last turn, then passed HARRY BlRGOYXE in the final eighth, but was ridden out to withstand POACHER. The latter suffered from early interference, but finished rapidly and was overhauling the winner at the end. HARRY BIIROOYNE tired after setting a fast early pa«-e. IKiJIK SWEET HOME was under restraint in the early running, hut tired when called 011 for a liual effort. SAADI slipi ed through next to the rail while rounding the last turn and easily outstayed the others. SAY could never improve his position. JULIA L. was away poorly. STARTLIXO was forced to race wide all the way, but rescinded gamelv to punishment and outstayed CAMPF1RE. The latter moved up menacingly on the stretch turn, but tired iu the closing strides. PAXAMAX closed a t*V ■•* finished gamely. HIGH XOON |iiit badly after setting a fast pace to the stretch. GREEX GOLD was eased up iu the last eighth. HANK ODAY was badly outpaced. Won easily; second and third driving. ROYCE ROOLS. after close pursuit of the leader, took the lead at ids riders leisure and won with speed in reserve. THISTLE was rejiontedly cut off when she attempted to come through next to the inner rail, then came to the outside on the stretch turn and came fast, but tired in the last sixteenth and probably was a trifle short. P1EDRA raced nest to the rail all the way and linished fast. OUR XKPHKW tired iii the last eighth after showing the most early speed. Won easily; second and third driving. LION DOR was away well, saved ground on the stretch turn and drew awav into an easv lead in the last eighth. MINUET was hard ridden all the way and outstayed DIFFERENT EYES at the end. The latter showed the most sliced, but ran out when entering the homestretch, losing considerable ground. YURUCARI had no chance after the start. SAILOR and RESIST showed speed. Sera t died— Ute. 115.
