ROSE OF ATTCMN, well ridden and standing a hard drive iu the stretch, ran a good race and outgamed ANGELINE in the closing strides. ANGELINE moved up fast in the last half, but was tiring a trifle in the last strides. JOHN I. DAY began slowly, but closed an immense gap in the stretch. CAPT. JACK REEVES came fast in the stretch after closing a big gap. TRENTINO tired in the last eighth. CHICK BARK-LEY gained steadily in the stretch. THE GRADER stumbled at the start and lost his rider. COLONEL LIVINGSTON, hard ridden for the entire race, took the lead on the last turn and held on gamely in the final drive. JAGO set the early pace and outgamed HENRY ROBERTS in the final drive. HENRY ROBERTS stood a terrific drive in the stretch and finished gamely. ST. BERNARD was close up throughout, but tired in the last seventy yards. HIDDEN JEWEL raced well. TICKLISH suffered from some interference soon after the start, but ran poorly in the going. CANDLE LIGHT was forced back soon after the start.
