MARY MAUD RETIRED TO THE STUD According to a Baltimore statement of last week C E Clements intends to retire to the stud tho good filly Mary Maud This daughter of Irish Lad Frizotte as a twoyearold failed to race up to the expectations of her yearling days winning only one race out of eleven starts This year Mar Maud showed decided improvement displaying a high order of speed and nire courage She won five times finished second four times third a like number out of nineteen starts She is well bred and should do well as a brood mare
