OFFICE BOY GOES FISHING We have a brandnew office boy yoilng pretty faced with golden ringlets and blue eyes The first day he glanced over the library of the editorial room became acquainted with everybody knew all the printers and went home in the evening as happy and cheery as a sunbeam The next day he ap ¬ peared leaned out of the back of the window spit on a printers bald pate had four fights with another boy borrowed ten shillings from an occu ¬ pant of the building saying his mother was dead collected his two days pay from the cashier hit the porter with a broomstick pawned a coat be ¬ longing to a member of the editorial staff wrenched knobs off the doors pied three galleys of type and smashed his fingers in the small press On the third day a note was received saying Ml mother do not want I to work in such a dull place Ml mother says I would make n good lawyer gone fibbing Yours Los Ausclud News
