CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF More than 500 different horses have started since the first of the year at both winter tracks. J. O. Kernes Humiliations to the 1921 Futuritv number eighteen, all representing Luke McLuke.- At Camp Funston, Kan.. Thursday. 543 horses and mules belonging to the United States government were sold for 8,940. O. A. Biauchi has made eleven nominations to the Futurity of 1921, with Jim Gaffney represented in ten of them and Watervale in the other. It is said to be the intention of Capt. Ral Parr to send the mare Bayberry Candle, which he purchased from J. W. May last year, to the stud. The speedy filly Enfilade, the property of M. L. Schwartz, and now wintering at Belmont Park under the care of trainer John Hastings, may be converted into a steep?chaser this year. E. F. Siiis, part owner of Eternal, the leader of the money-twinning horses of last year and winter favorite for this years Kentucky Derby, has- made ten nominations to the Futurity of 1921.
