INFLUENZA HITS JOCKEY CLUB OFFICERS NEW YORK, N. Y., January 24. Influenza has attacked the Jockey Clubs office with a, vengeance. Secretary Algernon Daingerfield lias had a series of attacks; W. H. Rowe, registrar of the Jockey Club, has not been at the registration desk for more than two weeks; Victor E. Schaumbcrg is now home in u rather serious condition, and yesterday F. H. McMillan, Mr. Daingerficlds stenographer, was ordered to bed. The wheels of the organization are practically at a standstill fur. the time Ixiing, Steeplechase jockey R. H. Crawford will report to W. Garth, his contract employer, at Bennlnir February 10. T. Fennessey, who has served In the army and who formerly rode for James Bedcil. will report to Mr. Bodeu again as soon as he discards his uniform.
