Stake blanks for Hie spring meeting of the .Maryland Jockey Club nl Pimlico have just been issued by Secretary William 1. Biggs. Six fixtures, beaded by the S2.1.000 Preakness. for three-year-olds, are down for decision during the fifteen-day meeting:, which will 0en Mny 1 and continue to May 17. In addition to the stakes an attractive list of overnight races will be provided. No nurse of less than SI. 000 will be offered, and in the fifteen days of raring ,lIiO will be added by the association. The Preakness. with its lich money offering, will unquestionably M n,iP 0f tle great turf events of the 1019 season. Practically every owner of a high-class three-year-old is pointing for the race, and the announcement that it will be run several days after the decision of The Kentucky Derby makes it possible for owners to try for the rich Pimlico event without sacrificing their chances of winning the historic Kentucky prize. An important change in the conditions of the 1019 Preakness bars geldings from competition. This eliminates J. K. L.
