CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF Al Weston and Harry Bites, with the Clyde and Griffith horses respectively, have the only two stables wintering at Pimlico. Eddie McBrido, X. K. Beal, H. B. A. West and Ernest Hall are among the owners with horses stabled at the old Driying Park track near Baltimore. Trainer H. G. Bedwell says Billy Kelly Is the wisest race horse he has ever seen. "He is like a wise old boxer or any athlete who knows enough not to take any unnecessary steps that would tend to tin him." remarked Bedwell. "He knows what a race is and knows how to run. just as well or better than any jockey or trainer." 1
