POSSIBLE COMING STARS MATCHED At the Newmarket First Spring meeting there is to be a snorting match between two comparatively newcomers to the turf. Lord Wilton and Mr. W. S. Beer. The former names Head Note, 2, by Orby Mesange, a chestnut filly that cost 0.000 guineas, and the latter Peach Blossom, a bay filly by Ba-yardo Cornfield, bred by Sir Gilbert Grenali, and sold for 1,2.10 guineas at the September sales. Lord Wiltons filly is to concede ten pounds Loudon Sportsman.
