A. H. DIAZ TO RACE AT SARATOGA NEW YORK. N. Y., February 20. M. A. Silvers, agent for Senor A. H. Diaz, writes from Cuba that the horses belonging to Senor Diaz will race in the east this year. He has requested eight stalls for Saratoga, stating the stable will nice at Aqueduct and then move to Saratoga. William McDatiiel will have charge of the horses. Conditions for .the steeplechase stakes to be run at Belmont Park will be distributed shortly. There are five the same as last year four to be run in the spring and The Brook Handicap in the autumn. The added money has been increased from 00 to $.100 in the Spring races, while The Brook Handicap will remain the same a .,000 guaranteed affair as heretofore. This event cost the association .,000 in 1018, and it is anticipated the shortage will be about the same this year. The entries for these races will close March 24.
