HELLO PARDNER showed the most speed, but tired near the end. LADY PATAUD linished fast after closing a big gap. FRANK W. had no mishaps. VAGARY refused to start with the others and was left. NELLE YORKE gained steadily from a slow start and was going well at the end. VISION was well up for the entire race. TANTALUS ran well. TOADSTOOL quit badly after going a half mile and setting the early pace. PADUA finished close up. PHANTOM MAID ran well and passed UNDER FIRE in the stretch. UNDER FIRE tried to run out on the first turn and was all over the track, then, after taking the lead, quit badly in the stretch. The latter suffered from interference and was forced to race wide but finislied with a rush. AL PIERCE raced forwardly all the way and outstayed JASON for third place. JASON had no mishaps.
