LONG BILL MARTIN TO RACE IN EAST EASTHOT HOT SPRINGS Ark April 11 One of the dis ¬ appointments of the Oaklawn meeting has been the noor showing made by the horses owned by W Long Bill Martin He wintered his stable here and had all of his charges in excellent condi ¬ tion when the meeting opened but it was a long time before even one race fell bis way His former good horse Kirsties Cub running in a cheap claim ¬ ing nice managed to get down in front and with his victory he changed hands as he was claimed Water War proved the undoing of the Martin estab ¬ lishment noon several occasions as after working threequarters of a mile in the vicinity of 114 he failed to run to his trials The Martin horses will be sent direct to Pimlico and then raced over the New York tracks and they may do better in that section
