WILLIAMS STRING BACK FROM CUBA LOUISVILLE Ky April il The division of tho Williams Bros racing stable that was cam ¬ paigned in Havana under the management of Pete Williams is the first stable to arrive here from the Cuban track the horses having reached here Wednesday night noiic the worse for their long trip Tlie arrivals numbered twelve horsesi the re ¬ maining six having been disposed of by Williams prior to leaving Havana The combined stable of the Williams Bros now quartered at Douglas Park totals thirtyfour head and is tlie most extensive establishment quartered at either of the local tracks tracksThe The stable did hot fare as well lu its last wjnter campaign as during the preceding yqar although tlie horses did fairly well for their owners Jack Howard the stables jockey arrived with the ship ¬ ment and after a brief rest will go to Lexington to be ready to ride the horses his employers will race at that meeting meetingJockey Jockey Harry Thurber who rode with considerable success at Havana reached here yesterday and will remaiu until the opening of the Lexington meet ¬ ing
