HUNGRY TROUT IS A VETERAN Twentyseven years ago Dennis Green living near the town of Wakefield Mass placed a trout in his well and the trout is still there Lately he tied a piece of liver on a string and dropped it into the Avell and the trout grabbed it greedily The fish has been fed nearly every day since it has been in the well and the trout knows when food is coming it has grown quite large but loses flesh during the winter months when it doesnt get much to eat Last spring Mr Green placed three other small trout in the well to keep the oldtimer company but the oldtimer didnt appreciate com ¬ panionship for he ate the other trout hes been alone so long it has become a habit
