PROCLAIM MAN 0 WAR THE CHAMPION NEW YORK N Y June 21 Some critics are of the opinion that Man o War may prove to IK a greater horse than his sire Fair Play The general belief is that he will go through the season un ¬ beaten barring accidents His dam Mahubah is by Rock Sand She never started in but two races and then was retired to the stud Major Belmont expressing the opinion she would make good as a brood mare The chairman of the Jockey Club bflieves strongly in breeding mares which have raced but little Mahubah is the dam of Masda a good winner and Man o War is her second foal He cost Mr Riddle 5000 at auction last year and the Pennsylvania turfman was greatly pleased when the big colt which is a counterpart of his sire in color and marks won the Youthful Stakes so impressively
