PURCHASE NO HORSE CAN RUN FASTER NEW YORK N Y June 21 S C Hildreths crack threeyearold Purchase was bred by John E Madden and sold as a yearling to George Smith owner of the Brighton Stable for 3500 Last fall hi was obtained at auction by his present ownep for 12500 George Odom who developed and trained him has unqualifiedly asserted No horse in the world can run faster He also said Purchase was simply a big colt which liked to pluy and did not take racing seriously but with experience would become steadied and show his tone quality At the post Thursday in the Stuyvesant Handicap the colt playfully pranced about and kicked After the race Odom said Purchase is sixteen bauds and on Inch high and a real horse
