TWO GREAT STAKES ARE TO CLOSE Final notice of the closing of entries in the La ¬ tonia Championship Stakes of 1921 appear in the advertising department of this issue of Daily Racing Form Owners who neglect to enter their now year ¬ lings in this great race would be singularly neglect ¬ ful of their own interests As a companion offer ¬ ing the Kentucky Jockey Cub also advertises the conditions of the Kentucky Jockey Cub Stakes for twoyearolds of nest year entries in which also close at midnight of July 1 This race is to be run at the Latpnia autumn meeting of 19110 and its endowment of 10000 in added money Will rcrve to make it easily the most valuable stake race of the west for twoyearolds Being a dash of a mile it will be a test of ability to stay and there being no penalties or allowances the young aspir ¬ ants to equine fame will run squarely on their merits Its decision hereafter will be held to give a clue to the Kentucky Derby favorite of the fol ¬ lowing year if not to the winner
