WEARY, clear of interference all the way, raced away from the others in the stretch and won eased up. INDISCRETION was a forward contender all the way and. holding on gamely in the final drive, outstayed OUR MAID at the end. OUU MAID, shullled back at the start, closed a big gap in the first quarter, but tired after getting to the leaders at the eighth post. SUGARMINT was away forward-, but met with repeated interference arid was forced to the outside rail, then hushed fast when clear and would have been second in a few more strides. POLYS AN DA had no mishaps. LARGIIETTO set the early pace, but quit in the stretch. FAIT ACCOMPLI bolted to the outside rail when entering the riiain track. KOII-1-NOOR raced in nearest pursuit throughout, saved ground on the stretch turn and made a game finish. FREDERICK THE J BEAT began slowly and moved up steadily to the last quarter, but tired badly when Called on for a final effort. HICKORYNUT closed up with a rush through the last eighth. SUNNY-LAND responded gamely to punishment. DR. RAE tired in the closing Strides. MONOMOY was pulled up at the start and not persevered with. The latter closed up menacingly in the final eighth, but was tiring in the final strides. KREWER easily disposed of the others. END MAN showed the most speed for a half and dropped back. IRA AVILSON and ARMENUS were eased up in the last eighth. Overweights Ira Wilson, 1 pound.
