Won in a canter; TROPHY, away slowly, gradually improved his position on the outside of the leaders and linished fast and gamely. JYNTEE was always a forward contender and outstayed HOUSEMAID in the final drive. The latter saved ground on the stretch turn, but was crowded back afterward. GUS SCHEER showed speed, but tired when put under punishment. GRUXDY ran poorly. Tho latter gained steadily under punishment and just failed to get up. SWIRL, away well, displayed early speed, but was tiring at the end.
