AIRDRIE came from far back in the last quarter, though coming wide, and finished fast. RAPID STRIDE had to force his way through in the stretch and finished fast and gamely. SAMS BOY was outrun all the way, but finished well. SIMONITE and HOSLER engaged in a bumping match in the last sixteenth and tired near the end. JACK HARE JR. showed the most early speed and set a good pace, but found his weight too much in the stretch and tired. MIDWAY had to be hard ridden all the way and finished gamely.
