LUCULLITE SUFFERS FROM A KICK Lucullite. which was badly kicked by Fairy Wand in the race won by The Porter last Saturday at Laurel, was lame today. He showed that the kick had been more serious than Hildreth supposed when the horse returned to the scales after the race: "I dont know when Lueullfte will be able to race again," said Hildreth. "I will not be. able to tell for another forty-eight hours, when the swelling will have subsided." Yesterday Hildreth decided that the injury was not serious. Fairy Wand is a regular offender in the kicking line. She seldom behaves well at the barrier and has severely kicked a dozen good horses this year. The mily escaite for her. company- in any race for which she goes to the post is an early start.
