FAIR PLAY TO STAY AT NURSERY STUD LEXINGTON, Ky., November 29. Major August Belmont at Nursery Stud today stated it to be his intention to breed sixteen mares to Gifford A. Cochrans Fair Play. Fair Plays stud fee for 1920 lias been fixed at ,000, Which sum Major Belmont will pay for each of six of the Nursery mares. Tin other ten are to Ik bred under the terms of the sale of Fair Play 00,000 cash and ten seasons each year for three years. It is a part or the sale:, agreement. .Major Belmont has made it known that Fair Play is to remain in Kentucky for three years, and at the Nursery Stud all of that time, unless Mr. Cochran should acquire a stud of his own, whither he may he removed Major Belmont expressed himself as delighted with the apiiearaiicc of Hourless and predicts for him a great future as a sire. He will he mated with such of the Nursery mares as are liest suited to him. Other Nursery mares will lie sent to outside stallions. Three already have leen booked to Ormondale and one to Broomstick. E. R. Bradlevs North Star III. probably will lie favored with three or more mares.
