GOOD YEAR FOR VIRGINIA OWNER BLAZES, VARLOCK AND PAUL JONES THl LEADING CONTRIBUTORS TO THE BIG STABLE EARNINGS PLACED TO THE CREDIT OF R. PARR IN THE RACING CAMPAIGN OF 1 91 9 In respect to money wen by his horses, It, Parr had the most successful year in 1011 of his career on the turf so far. In 191S his stable total was 2,352, with which his 01,457 of this year contrasts pleasantly. Campaigning a mixed stable of Hat racers and jumpers, he had in his colt Diazes one of the crack two-year-olds of 1919, and in Warlock one of the few jumpers which won 0,000 or more. Diazes was a two-year-old for any owner to be proud of and a great advertisement for his young sire. Wrack. Another good two-year-old. the Sea King colt, 1aul Jones, was third in the stables list of money earners and should make a useful three-year-old. Ralco raced fairly well, hut not up to the form expected from him. Fanny Cook was a speedy liily and one. of the youngsters which attracted attention of the merit of Theo. Cook as a rising young sire. Le. Marsouin. Smart Guy, Violet. The Wit. Hobert Oliver. Royal Arch, Dughouse, Bullseye, Ireland and Who Cares all contributed ,000 or more to the income of the stable, which it seems should be well equipped with three-year-olds capable of winning in 1920. In all, the prosperous record of the stable was: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won. Mazes br. c. 2 Dy Wrack Blazing Star, by Star Shoot 4 3 2 3,200 Warlock br. g.
