TOTO BREAKS DOWN AND IS DESTROYED XKW ORLKAXS. La.. December 17. The three-year-old Toto. which brake down during the running of the fifth race at. Jefferson Park yesterday, was found on examination after the race to be in such a bad way that it was necessary to destroy him. Toto formerly raced in the colors of F. D. Weir and as u two-year-old ran in thirteen races, of which he won seven and was unplaced but once, earning ,927. This year, however, he fail.d to do as well, only winning three out of twenty starts.
